Crest and its Tower
A magnificent keep
The small town of Crest, a listed 'Plus beau détour de France' village, or one 'well worth a detour', is home to the tallest keep in France. A maze of pretty streets connects the lower part of the town to the keep that can be visited throughout the year. From the top, there's a beautiful panoramic view over the region. In the summer, you can abseil down the Tower and visit the old town by torchlight.
